  1. Which services are included in reservation?
    • Direct reservations include accommodation services. Transportation or transfer to the hotel is not included.
    • Guests who booked through agencies must check which services are included in their reservation.
  2. Which services does board include?
    • BB – Bed and Breakfast option, including night stay and breakfast
    • HB – Half Board option, , including night stay, breakfast, and dinner
    • Full Board - option, including night stay, breakfast, lunch, and dinner (upon availability/special promotion)
    • Package deal - depending on the package bought (example: HB + boat trip, free parking, or fruit basket) upon availability and for limited promotional time only
  3. How to arrive at our hotel?

    The hotel can be reached from Split or Dubrovnik airport and also from Korčula City.

    From Split Airport to Vela Luka

    From the Split airport to the ferry port there are two options:

    • bus (available outside the airport)
    • private taxi (we can organize a taxi if needed, please call or email us, the price is around 40,00€) The driver will take you directly to the ferry for Vela Luka. (Ferry ticket not included).

    Once in Split Ferry Port, the easiest option is to take a direct ferry from the Split ferry port to Vela Luka (please check the price and timings on

    For guests willing to drive all around the coast, the nearest point on the mainland is Orebic. It is just 1-mile away from Korčula island. From there you can take the 15-minute car ferry to Domince, in Korcula Town, and then another 45 min drive till Vela Luka.

    From Dubrovnik airport to Vela Luka:

     There are 4 options:

    • By car, it will take around 4 hours drive till Orebić a boat transfer of 15 min and another 40 min drive from Korcula city till Vela Luka (In Orebić take the ferry to Dominče Korčula and from Korčula city 40 min drive to Hotel Korkyra, ferry information on;

    From Korčula city to Hotel Korkyra:

    From Korčula city to Vela Luka there are 4 options.

  4. Do you provide parking?

    The parking lot is located near the hotel and during the high season, it can't be reserved.

    The price for parking is 75HRK (per day/ per vehicle).

    Vela Luka city Public parking is also available. (10 €/per night)

  5. Which facilities does the room have?

    Bathroom with shower or bathtub (bathtub available for JR and Comfort family rooms only). A terrace or French balcony (check on balcony availabilities while booking, limited number available)

  6. Is there a water kettle in the rooms?

    No, we do not provide water kettles in our rooms, but it is always possible to order any hot or warm drink from our bar in time from 6.00 am – 10.00 pm

  7. Is smoking allowed in the room?

    No, all our rooms are non smoking rooms

  8. Is the hotel pet friendly?

    Yes, Hotel korkyra is Pet- friendly and allows pets (extra charges 20 € per night).

  9. What are the opening hours of the hotel restaurant?
    • Breakfast 07.00 am – 10.30 am
    • Dinner 07.00 pm – 10.00 pm
  10. Where is the nearest beach?

    The nearest public beach is just on the opposite side of the bay. The ride takes only 2 min. The hotel provides free boat tickets for its guests. (1 round trip per guest per day)

    We recommend the restaurant Luky Restaurant & Bar located at the Marina Korkyra.

  12. Do you accept Euros?

    We still do not accept Euros by Croatian law. Only cash in Croatian Kuna and Credit cards. We do not take American Express and Diners.

  13. Is there WiFi in hotel?

    There is free WiFi in all hotel facilities and rooms. (password and login available at the reception)

  14. How far is it to get to Korcula city?

    The distance from Vela Luka to Korcula Town is 45 km, and it takes about a 45 min drive.

  15. Is it possible to rent a car on the spot?

    We work together with a rental company and a car rental can be arranged. Please ask our front desk for assistance if you wish to rent a car.

  16. Is it possible to rent a boat?

    There are few rental boat companies in Vela Luka and with a valid boat license, it is possible to rent a boat.

  17. What are the hotel check-in and check-out hours?
